Ambition Racing took part in the world's first single/double handed round the world sailing race in September 2008.
The race, which set off from Portimao in Portugal, was the largest ever round the world race and attracted considerable public interest both at home and in each of the five continents visited during the race; Portimao (Portugal) - Cape Town (South Africa) - Wellington (New Zealand) - Ilhabela (Brazil) and Charlestown (United States).
Ambition Racing were thrilled to announce a strategic partnership with The Princess Royal Trust for Carers; they linked up with the charity to help raise their profile within the corporate and local communities in the UK.
